摘要:

美罗培南作为关键的广谱碳青霉烯类抗生素，其罕见不良反应的识别在复杂临床情境中面临挑战。本病例报告描述了一例妇科术后复杂感染患者，在使用美罗培南后出现进行性加重的对称性四肢麻木、肿胀和剧烈疼痛，该症状与用药时序高度相关，且在停用美罗培南后迅速缓解。这一独特的临床表现超出了美罗培南常规不良反应谱，其潜在机制可能涉及外周神经毒性。本病例旨在提高临床医护人员对此类罕见事件的警觉性。

Abstract:

As a key broad-spectrum carbapenem antibiotic, the identification of rare adverse reactions associated with meropenem presents challenges in complex clinical settings. This case report describes a patient with a complicated postoperative gynecological infection who developed progressively worsening symmetrical limb numbness, swelling, and severe pain following meropenem administration. The symptoms were temporally correlated with the drug use and resolved rapidly after discontinuation of meropenem. This unique clinical presentation extends beyond the conventional spectrum of meropenem adverse effects, and its underlying mechanism may involve peripheral neurotoxicity. This case aims to enhance vigilance among healthcare professionals regarding such rare events.
