1株屎肠球菌的全基因组序列测定及比较基因组分析

摘要:
目的 对益生菌产品中分离出的1株屎肠球菌进行功能评价和安全风险评估。方法 采用功能基因组和比较基因组方法,分析屎肠球菌菌株的益生性和安全性特征,评估对人体健康的潜在风险。结果 分离菌株具有抗菌活性、维生素代谢等益生性相关功能基因,同时具有毒力因子和耐药性等相关功能基因,揭示该分离菌株对人体具有益生功能,同时存在安全风险隐患。此外,该菌株的毒力因子与可移动元件(插入序列)之间存在高度相关性,具有潜在的传播风险。结论 屎肠球菌菌株具有潜在的安全风险,需要进一步结合基因组和表型数据分析,以避免或遏制益生菌产品的潜在安全隐患。

Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To evaluate the function and safety risk of a strain of Enterococcus faecium isolated from probiotic products. METHODS Functional genomics and comparative genomics were used to analyze the probiotic and safety characteristics of Enterococcus faecium strains, and to assess the potential risks to human health. RESULTS The isolated strain had probiotic-related functional genes such as antibacterial activity and vitamin metabolism, as well as related functional genes such as virulence factors and drug resistance, revealing that the isolated strain had probiotic functions on the human body and had hidden safety risks. In addition, there was a high correlation between the virulence factor of this strain and the movable element(insertion sequence), and there was a potential risk of transmission. CONCLUSION Enterococcus faecium strains have potential safety risks, and further analysis of genomic and phenotypic data is needed to avoid or contain potential safety hazards of probiotic products.
