基于抗氧化作用的淫羊藿抗衰老药效研究

摘要:
目的 阐明淫羊藿抗衰老作用机制来自于其抗氧化功能而不是免疫作用。方法 皮下注射D-半乳糖建立小鼠衰老模型,灌胃给予淫羊藿乙醇提取物。采用ELISA试剂盒测定丙二醛(MDA)、超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)、蛋白质羰基(PCO)含量和一氧化氮(NO)含量。免疫指标测定包括胸腺指数和T淋巴细胞改变。结果 淫羊藿乙醇提取物能降低MDA和PCO水平,同时上调NO和SOD水平,抗氧化效果显著。而胸腺指数和T淋巴细胞没有明显变化。结论 淫羊藿抗衰老作用主要源于其抗氧化功能而不是免疫途径。

Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To verify the anti-aging function of Epimedium acuminatum (E. acuminatum) resulting from their anti-oxidation effects not from immunological effect. METHODS Aged mice were made via subcutaneous injecting D-galactose. The ethanol extract of E. acuminatum was administered orally to the aged mice. A series of biomarkers related to aging, including malonydialdehyde (MDA), superoxide dismutase (SOD), protein carbonyl (PCO), and nitric oxide (NO) were detected. Immunology indices of thymus indices and changes of T lymphocytes were determined with or without the oral administration of extracts. RESULTS E. acuminatum decreased the levels of MDA, PCO, and increased the levels of SOD and NO. This demonstrated that the anti-oxidation effect of E. acuminatum was obvious. However, it had little effects on the thymus indices, and changes of T lymphocytes. CONCLUSION E. acuminatum shows anti-aging function mainly due to anti-oxidation effect with little immunological effect.
