| The 1-methylamipo analogue of Norfloxacin which had been confirmed to have comparable antibacterial potency to Norfloxacin was prepared and some methods were imporved, in particular it is convenient to prepare 0-(2, 4-dinitrophenyl) hydroxylamino. |
