基于铁死亡探讨中医药干预血管钙化的研究进展

摘要:

血管钙化是一种主动的且高度调控的复杂生物学过程,也是心血管事件的独立危险因素,目前尚缺乏有效的治疗方法。铁死亡作为一种新型程序性细胞死亡模式,已经被证明与心血管疾病的病理生理过程密切相关。而中医根据“温经通脉,活血化瘀”“补虚泄实”等治疗理念治疗血管钙化,并有显著疗效,但具体作用机制仍不明确,有待进一步探索研究。本文阐述了铁死亡导致血管钙化的机制,总结了中医药防治血管钙化的研究进展。

Abstract:

Vascular calcification is an active and highly regulated complex biological process, and it serves as an independent risk factor for cardiovascular events. Currently, effective therapeutic approaches are lacking. Ferroptosis, as a novel form of programmed cell death, has been demonstrated to be closely associated with the pathophysiological processes of cardiovascular diseases. In traditional Chinese medicine, vascular calcification is treated based on therapeutic concepts such as "warming the meridians, promoting blood circulation, and removing blood stasis" and "tonifying deficiency and purging excess," with remarkable curative effects. Nevertheless, the specific mechanisms of action remain ambiguous and warrant further exploration and research. This article elaborates on the mechanism through which ferroptosis induces vascular calcification and summarizes the research advancements in the prevention and treatment of vascular calcification by traditional Chinese medicine.
